About Hazel
Hazel graduated from Pomona College in 1986 and went on to complete her Master's in Social Work from Boston University in June, 1992. During her Master's she concentrated on large family systems working to tackle developmental issues such as ADHD. She Completed the Family Therapy Certificate Program at Boston University in August 1992.
Hazel is the proud parent of six lively children. Parenting a large family system affords Hazel the opportunity to learn, grow, and practice many of the coaching skills she helps her clients acquire and put into practice. Large family systems require organization, time management, and excellent communication skills in order to function, and help all grow and develop in a healthy loving environment. Hazel has years of “hands-on “ experience dealing with chores, homework, sibling rivalry, bedtime, and other discipline situations which can be exacerbated when ADHD is part of the picture.
Professional Training
In June 2003, Hazel participated in The American Coaching Association's ADHD Coaching Course held in central Israel. She learned ADHD coaching from Master Coach, Susan Sussman. Hazel learned from Sue how to co-create a coaching partnership based on mutual trust, education, skills, structure, strategies and support.
Soon after completing the course Hazel started SynergetiCoaching an Organizational, ADHD, Life Coaching and Consulting Service. She coaches kids, teens, adults, parents of young children, and large family systems, in person, over the phone, and video conferencing with SKYPE.
Hazel runs an Individual Coaching and Group Coaching program at Neveh Rehumah Girls School in Jerusalem. Hazel loves the challenge of working with Teens. Many people ask how she manages kids in the height of their transition into adulthood and hormonal roller coaster, and Hazel answers: “Teens are always filled with surprises.
